Ummm... I'd like to help. I'm a stay-at-home mother with a 2 year old who's in day care so I have some free time. I majored in English and minored in Literature so, I can't help with translations but I can help with other stuff. I'm new to useing most pc programs, but my husband is a programmer so I can have him teach me.
If you want, I can be a proofreader. This would be my first time doing something like this but I can learn fast. Also, English is my native language and I've read a lot of manga so I want to help if you'll let me.
Hello, I'm interested in joining the scanlation group. Korean was my first language but I'm currently residing in the U.S and I'm confident in my advanced English reading and writing abilities. I also have basic knowledge about Photoshop and due to being a stickler for correct English grammar and language, I would love to try out for proofreading.
But you do know how to translate Korean? We have like 10 or something proofreaders but we are in a desperate need for translators mostly korean, cause almost all of our projects are korean and we do not have korean to english translators. So if i'm not asking too much can you translate. PLEASE. I'll understand if you don't want to.
Yes, I can translate Korean in writing and speaking since I'm Korean myself. I'm definitely interested in helping but I would have to know how much work I would have on average due to my busy school/work schedule.
We will not rush you to translate, all of us have lives so take your time, translate when you have free time. We are taking Her True Color as our first project, we won't do them as cahpter after chapter we'll do the whole volumes. Give your e-mail so i can send you the raws, 'cause our forum is still under construction. Thank you
I would love to help. Unfountunatly , I only speak English and a little bit of French. I'm a bit of a grammer natzi, thought. Another thing, I can't download things onto my computer. Is there any way I could still be of help?
Hello ! Since I have some free time left, I'd like to help with the scanlations. I speak fluently English, German and some French, also Russian, though I don't think the last three languages will help. Since I'm new with this I would gladly help with the typesetting and editing, because I can't understand Japanese. I would also do some cleaning but I couldn’t guarantee that it would be perfectly clean, haha :D Still, if I can help, here is my mail; piczoo@gmx.de :)
Hi! I'm sort of nervous about this, but I would really like to help. My native language is English and I live in Australia (but I could do American spellings if that is what you want), so I don't think I can be a translator, but I'm sure I could do something along the lines of editing or proof-reading! My email is: chubbalub.mcaulay@hotmail.com (yes, yes, strange email but it's my favourite one!) But you would have to know that I am still a student and so I don't know if you would like to have me work on some projects! But, if you can, email me! >_<

ReplyDeleteOk then would you like to work as a cleaner, proofreader or typesetter. As you can see we've put tutorials so feel free and go take a look at them.
